As part of the support system for Agricultural and Municipal operations, Messick's will remain open though any COVID19 shutdowns.
Our parts department has continued to operate and reports limtied interruptions or supply chain problems. To support social distancing efforts, we have setup our parts counters to maintain 6' of space between customers and Messick staff. We will continue to provide curb-side service, You can reach us at 800-222-3373 or by a prioritized number posted on the stores front door. To minimize your wait time we will pull your parts ahead of your arrival. We also encourage purchasing your parts on our website. If your within our local area, the checkout process will include store pickup locations.
- UPS & Fedex are reporting delays handling the increased volume of packages due to people choosing to ship products rather than visit stores. We're passing packages off to the carriers at our normal pace, but we have heard of shipping delays in some areas. All carriers have suspended their delivery timeframe guarantees. Fedex\UPS will no longer issue freight credits when packages run late. A vast majority of packages continue to be delivered on time.
- We are seeing increased demand for the services of our Parts Department because of the coronavirus. Please help us serve as many essential farmers and municipal customers as possible by taking an extra minute to view our self-help resources. Our website has many tools including online parts lookup and ordering. If you reach out to a parts technician, please have your model number, serial number, and credit card information ready. Thank you for your confidence and understanding.
- Our suppliers are reporting struggles operating large warehousing facilities due to staffing and heath issues. This is causing unpredictable delivery times in our parts orders. We have updated our website ETA's to reflect the occasional longer than normal ETA's from these companies.
Our sales department continues to be fully staffed and our manufacturers are beginning to offer enticing programs to incentivize purchases during these uncertain times. We're happy to walk you around our equipment lots, and discuss your equipment needs at 800-222-3373 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Our website continues to be a fantastic place to see our ever changing inventory of used machinery.
- A busy selling season has caused some availability problems for our sales department. Inventory is arriving at a slower than normal pace, and lead times for ordering equipment are longer than usual. In the event we do not have stock of a specific model, we've been able to source machinery within a few weeks time.
Our service department remains available to support any equipment needs. Equipment is in the fields, and we'll be there to ensure your working efficiently and productively. Please reach out at 800-222-3373, or request service on our website.
