High Tensile Steel Ribbon Flighting:
Meteor Snow Blowers employ machine-formed, hand-welded augers made with high tensile steel ribbon flighting. This design ensures strength and long-term durability, even when dealing with heavy, wet snow.
Five Blade Fan:
All Meteor Snow Blowers now feature a standard 5-blade fan. These blades efficiently move high volumes of snow while maintaining tight tolerances with the housing, increasing snow velocity as it exits the chute.
Gear Box:
The time-tested Comer gearbox transfers PTO power from the tractor into the Meteor's driveline, ensuring consistent power input to the auger and fan assemblies.
Manual Deflector:
Every Meteor Snow Blower comes equipped with a manual pin-style deflector, offering a convenient "set it and forget it" approach to snow blowing.
Skid Shoes:
Meteor Snow Blowers are outfitted with adjustable skid shoes, extending the lifespan of the cutting edge, and protecting surfaces from common snow removal damage.
Manual Rotator:
Manual rotators are standard on SB48, SB54, and SB60 single auger models and can be optionally added to most models where operators can safely reach the adjustment handle.
Hydraulic Rotator:
The optional hydraulic rotator is an ideal upgrade for tractors with cabs or for contractors/property managers requiring frequent adjustments. Hydraulic rotators are standard on SB97D, SB108D, and SB120D models.
Electric Rotator:
In cases where hydraulic power isn't available, the 12V electric rotator offers a hands-off approach to chute rotation. Please contact MK Martin for compatibility and availability.
Hydraulic Deflector:
Hydraulic deflectors provide control over the distance and arc of the thrown snow and are available as an option on all models.
Multi-Hinged Deflector:
The optional multi-hinged deflector is compatible with most models and enhances precision in directing snow placement. It allows snow to be blown closer to the blower or directed into a truck for removal.
