Bauma Light 1P24

The 1P24 PTO Stump Grinder is designed for small tractors with hydrostatic drive and Category 1 3-point hitch. This model efficiently grinds small to midsized stumps with its 24-inch rotor carrying 34 replaceable carbide teeth, offering a cutting depth of 10 inches above ground and 6 inches below ground at a wheel speed of 540 RPM. The 3/4-inch-thick carbide-tipped teeth allow for a maximum cutting depth of 5 inches per pass and a horizontal cut of up to 22 inches. Controlled by gravity feed, it requires no hydraulics, making it perfect for tractors without hydraulic remotes. In case of sudden tractor movement, the hinge automatically adjusts the grinding head to maintain even pressure on the stump. Weighing 350 lbs and measuring 48 inches in both width and length, it can grind a 30-inch wide, 12-inch deep stump in 15 minutes with a 40HP tractor, or in 20 minutes with a 30HP tractor. Baumalight stump grinders are made in North America and sold through local dealers, ensuring easy access to service and support.
