MP348 Fixed Tooth PTO Brush Mulcher The MP348 is part of Baumalight’s 300 Series — their lightest fixed-tooth brush mulcher designed for 3-point hitch tractors. Built for efficiency at low ground speeds, the MP348 uses high-speed carbide teeth with a concave shape that aggressively chips through heavy vegetation and light brush, bit by bit. Its spiral tooth pattern ensures only one tooth engages at a time, delivering smoother mulching performance. The teeth are designed for longevity, with easy rotation to always expose a fresh cutting edge. Power is transferred directly from the PTO through a heavy-duty gearbox and reinforced belt drive to the rotor, maximizing performance while reducing energy loss. To protect the driveline, a slip clutch disengages automatically when torque limits are reached, helping prevent damage. An included wire protection kit shields the rotor and shaft from fencing or stray wire. With a 15" rotor diameter (at tool tips), a 48" rotor width, and a 60" mulching path, the MP348 delivers big performance in a compact package. When equipped with the A450 motor option, it’s capable of mulching material up to 4" in diameter—though cutting capacity will vary based on tractor specs (refer to the cutting chart for details).
