Side Auger
BaumaLight Trenchers feature a convenient side auger that keeps dirt clear from the trenching area, allowing for easy backfilling by keeping soil close to the trench.
Crumb Scraper Bar
Equipped with a crumb scraper bar as standard, which sweeps extra dirt and debris into the chain to be lifted out of the trench. The durable, hinged design performs well at any trenching depth.
Solid Steel Nose
The trencher's nose is made from a single piece of heavy-duty, precision-machined steel. It rotates freely on dual tapered roller bearings, handling extreme trenching forces effectively.
A precision-machined washer, reinforced by a rubber seal on the bearings, protects the nose from dirt and rocks, while an easily accessible grease fitting helps keep the bearings lubricated and free from moisture.
Adjustable Chain Tension
Chain tension is easy to adjust using the grease cylinder tensioner, allowing quick tension adjustments with a grease gun. A few pumps push the roller nose forward, taking up slack and making this task quick and hassle-free.
Chain Options
Comes with a durable chain featuring hardened, reinforced cup-style cutting teeth for efficient trenching.
Optional and replacement chains are available in 4" and 6" widths to suit different trench widths.
For trenching in rocky soil, a bullet-style tooth option is also available.
