Item is In-Stock!Diller's top-selling cattle hay feeder, designed for skids, boasts dimensions of 88" in width and 8' in length, making it capable of accommodating one large round or square bale within its hay basket. This feeder is specially engineered to capture hay that typically goes to waste when it falls to the ground. Featuring a hay basket that elevates the bale above the pan, it offers your cattle a second opportunity to consume any dropped hay. This innovative design significantly reduces hay wastage to the extent that some customers claim virtually zero waste. Diller hay feeders are constructed using heavy-duty schedule 40 pipe and a 10-gauge steel bottom with reinforced corners and eight drain holes. They are suitable for small farms or ranches feeding 3-15 head of cattle or larger operations with multiple feed lots. Following fabrication, the feeder undergoes a cleaning process using a phosphate acid solution to wash and etch the steel, ensuring a strong bond with the polyurethane primer. Finally, a two-part polyurethane finish coat provides a durable, long-lasting shine.
