The 9600N/TF Series sprayer from Fast combines a compact design with a durable and stable boom, making it ideal for precise spraying in tight fields and large-scale coverage. The flexible folding boom design allows for easy maneuverability, and users can choose from six boom sizes ranging from 60’ to 100’ with tank capacities of 1,050 or 1,350 gallons. The 80’-100’ booms can fold to narrower widths, allowing for efficient spraying that matches planter tracks or works through smaller fields.
Tank and Trailer: The short-coupled trailer design features a hitch pin to axle length that is up to 3” shorter than competitors, minimizing crop damage during turns and on slopes. Its patented low-profile “stealth” tank design improves rear visibility, while the high-clearance frame reduces crop damage. The deep sump of the Stealth Tank is nestled within the trailer for a lower center of gravity and efficient tank cleanout. Adjustable axle widths range from 62” to 132”, and a durable breakaway design with fore and aft movement ensures stability.
Boom: The self-stabilizing boom offers a smooth ride, faster spraying speeds, adjustable spray heights, and more effective weed control. It is built with a taller structure and reinforced gusseting for added durability. Booms fold to multiple widths: the 80’ boom to 40’/60’/80’, the 90’ boom to 60’/90’, and the 100’ boom to 40’/70’/100’, providing flexibility to match planting widths. A hydraulic accumulator on the center section cushions the trailer, enhancing boom stability.
Spraying: The 9600N/TF features a reliable hydraulic pump with overspeed protection and Teejet AIXR air induction tips for superior weed control and drift management. Spray heights can be adjusted from 20” to 72” for optimal late-season spraying. Multi-section ball valves redirect remaining liquid back into the tank when shut off for greater efficiency.
Cleaning: The stainless steel wet boom plumbing includes flush-out valves at the end of each section for thorough residue clean-out, ensuring easy maintenance.
Key Options: The 9600N/TF Series offers advanced options like Capstan PWM Pulsing Nozzles and Boom Recirculation, which provide consistent pressure, precise droplet size, turn compensation, and individual nozzle control for chemical savings and reduced overlap. Boom Recirculation eliminates dead spots in plumbing, allowing operators to charge or rinse the booms from the tractor cab. Optional Raven XRT Autoboom Height Control (ISO) or Norac UC7 (ISO or standalone) ensures precise height adjustments. Additional features include electric trailer valves for in-cab control, a 7.5-gallon chemical eductor with jug rinse nozzle, and an electronic sight gauge for the 1,350-gallon tank.
