New Holland ProRotor Series

Functioning akin to a mechanical pitchfork, each tine arm of the ProRotor™ rake is equipped with long, flexible tines that gently lift and transport the crop, depositing it into the windrow. Importantly, these tines maintain a distance from the soil, minimizing the risk of contaminants being incorporated into the windrow. Through its rotary action, this process results in the formation of a well-shaped windrow, devoid of roping, which facilitates faster drying and allows for earlier raking. This, in turn, helps preserve the delicate leaves, ultimately yielding higher quality forage. The uniform and consistent shape of the windrow created by the rotary rake seamlessly feeds into various types of balers, making baling easier and ensuring consistently uniform bales every time.

PROROTOR™ ROTARY RAKE GEARBOX

At the core of every rotary rake lies the rotor gearbox, and in the case of ProRotor™ rakes, these gearboxes are sealed and lubricated with oil, ensuring dependable and enduring service life. These practically maintenance-free rotor gearboxes eliminate the need for daily greasing of the tine arm assemblies, allowing you to spend less time on maintenance and more time raking.

CURVED TANGENTIAL MOUNTED ARMS

ProRotor tine arms are strategically mounted at a tangent, placing the tines in the optimal position for efficiently gathering hay. The smooth cam action and specially designed tine arm curve swiftly lift the tines as hay is deposited into the windrow, resulting in a consistent and even windrow. To handle even the heaviest crops, each tine arm is securely fastened by a through bolt and clamping bolt, ensuring high reliability.

LONG FLEXIBLE RAKE TINES

The individual raking tines are uniquely shaped to provide uniform spacing, improving coverage and reducing the risk of missed crops. With the capacity to handle heavy crops, these individual tines feature three spring coils for flexibility to protect the stubble from inadvertent contact. Each tine is securely bolted, with coils wrapping around the tine arm for added assurance. Optional tine saver clips are available for additional peace of mind.

CLEAN AND PRECISE RAKING

The ProRotor 3114 closely and precisely follows ground contours with the support of four 18 x 8.5-8 flotation tires on oscillating tandem axles, ensuring accurate tine height maintenance on rolling terrain. The rear rotor of the ProRotor 3223 articulates in all three dimensions to independently follow field contours without reliance on the front rotor. Both rotors hug the ground, resulting in cleaner raking compared to models with fixed rotors. The rear rotor articulates without complicated pivoting joints and hydraulic cylinders, supported by four large 18 x 8.5-8 flotation tires on oscillating tandem axles, with two additional guide wheels positioned in the front to guide the tines with precision on rolling terrain. Supported by a tricycle undercarriage with four 16 x 6.5-8 flotation tires, the dual front wheels are positioned near the tines, leading the rotor and controlling tine height and caster with precision to prevent skidding during tight turns. For challenging conditions such as pivot irrigation tracks and unexpected holes, the optional tandem axle kit provides an extra smooth ride, allowing the rotors to closely follow the terrain. A special "J-shaped" hitch pin secures the ProRotor 3114 and ProRotor 3223 rakes to the tractor. This unique hitch pin is shorter and secured on the top to reduce hay catching on the drawbar. A hydraulic cylinder controls the hitch angle, keeping the rotors level as they are raised on headlands. The threaded ram allows for a full range of adjustments for different drawbar heights. Rotor adjustments are simple and tool-free, with built-in side leveling adjustment, ensuring proper settings without the need for rotor base shims or tire pressure adjustments.

PROROTOR™ 3114 SIDE-DELIVERY RAKE

Designed for traditional haymakers, the ProRotor 3114 rotary rake features a large 11-foot diameter rotor, ideally suited for use with common 9 and 10-foot mowers and mower-conditioners. The single-rotor design allows you to rake individual windrows or combine them in two passes for efficient baling and harvesting. It's drawbar trailed with a low power requirement, easily connecting to tractors with as little as 20 PTO horsepower. For travel on narrow rural roads, tine arms can be removed quickly and stored in a rack. The compact folding design ensures that this rake is easy to store and occupies minimal shed space.

PROROTOR™ 3223 DUAL ROTOR, SIDE-DELIVERY RAKE

For larger acreage operations, the dual-rotor ProRotor 3223 doubles your productivity and offers more versatility than single-rotor models. The tandem side-delivery design allows you to combine swaths with every pass for more efficient harvesting. The single large windrow is ideal for round balers, square balers, and pull-type forage harvesters. Equipping a ProRotor 3223 with an additional front swath board allows for raking two individual windrows, suitable for small square balers or reducing windrow size in heavy crops. The rear rotor autonomously trails the front rotor, turning without operator intervention and offering easier maneuvering around obstacles and during reverse operation compared to pivot tongue rake hitches. The rotors lift hydraulically with a single hydraulic outlet, providing 19 inches of tine clearance when crossing windrows. With double the productivity of single-rotor models and a modest 50 PTO horsepower requirement, ProRotor 3223 rakes save you time in the field and fuel in the tank. Just like the ProRotor 3114, tine arms on the 3223 can be removed swiftly for travel on narrow rural roads, and its compact folding design ensures minimal storage space is required in your shed.
