Installation Tips

Unrated (20 minutes)
Most of the time spent was getting old ones off (turnbuckle style). The install of new ones did not need any tricks to get on and they make all the difference.

No tips needed, if you were blind you could do it in 15 minutes. I used the cotter keys but should have used the clips off the old stabilizers

Cotter pins are bent back around the pin. Use a dremel to cut off top of cotter pin Go slow not to mushroom the cut off part. File a little and then use a punch to knock pin out. Trying to un bend the cotter pin and lay on the ground with pin rotating is time consuming

The only mistake I made was pinning both ends and then trying to slide them together. Probably should have noticed that I wouldn't get them far enough apart to engage them but I didn't until it was too late. Had to remove Cotter pin from one end, slide the two parts together and then re-do it. They adjust and work great, what a great upgrade!

Remove the forward hinged plate, save the clip and pin for re-attchment. This turns over the plate to make removal and replacement of the forward stabilizer bar cotter keys easy. Assemble the slider square tubes, secure to the rear of the lift arms, then attach to the hinged plate, replace the hinged plate with factory pin and key clip.

The bars have plenty of alignment hole combinations to fit any length. Jostle your arms/implement a bit if the holes don't quite line up.
