Loosen alternator. Replace fan belt. Tighten alternator to fan belt deflection of 6mm or 1/4". Pretty tight.

I already had the pup shaft out and also the radiator out of tractor so it was a quick replacement. Otherwise it would probably be 45 min or so?

Hardest part is tightening the nut behind the AC adjust pulley. Get a stubby 17 mm wrench. Mine was too long; it was a slow process. Would be much faster with a stubby 17 mm wrench. Belt was perfect, though. Thank you Messick's.

Slide Belt Between the cooling fan and Fan shroud. There will be a large enough gap at the top or bottom of the shroud to fit the belt between them without deforming the fan blades. Cuts time needed in half by eliminating the need to remove the fan to fit the belt around the fan pully.

install belt around the fan one blade at a time. Rotate fan put the belt behind each blade until it gets around the fan. install around all the pulleys then tighten the alternator.
