I am a 74 old backyard mechanic. Make sure you have service manual. Don't try to save steps by not removing steering post . Much easier to replace steering controller when post is out of machine which will allow you to change bearing on steering shaft. Unless there are special tools, 2 of the mounting bolts on steering controller are hard to get at . I had to resort to 1/4 inch drive sockets for clearance to 2 bolts. When trying to remove hydraulic lines from bottom of controller the fittings in the controller were turning with the line. Factory must have overtightened the lines. Needed to grind away open end wrench on sides to make it thinner to hold fitting while turning ring nut on line/hose . You may be able to do it faster but like I said 74 years old . Multiple breaks
