Take pictures of parts before removing seals and orings. Keep all parts wet with Kubota hydraulic oil. Take your time.

Wrap any threads with tape to protect "O" rings that are slapped over the threads. This will protect the "O" ring from cuts.

Disconnect and remove hydraulic cylinder after removing plow from subframe and depressurizing lines. Remove hydraulic lines from cylinder (have an oil drain receptacle available) - move piston in and out to drain oil from cylinder. Use gland nut wrench to remove gland nut, remove piston, disassemble piston ends, change seals and reassemble. Good videos on you Tube - most hydraulic cylinders are very similar. Did have to make custom pins for gland nut wrench - just filed down some bolts to use as pins in the gland nut wrench, worked great!

My cylinder was older and used a o-ring and an orange rigid ring on the inside of the piston. This kit replaces it with a blue cup seal. The key is to ensure that the cup side of the seal is facing the pressure side (base) of the cylinder.
