75% of installation time is cleaning the outside of the cylinder and tractor. Start with a pressure washer before you remove anything. Take pictures of how it looks before removing. Expect your roll pins on the swing chains to be cracked and need replacing. Clean the chains by soaking in a parts cleaning solution and regrease before putting them back on the tractor. Get a U-cup seal installation tool. A 3 tool kit is about $28 on Amazon and worth every penny on these small cylinders. Pay attention to the orientation of the o-ring backer on the outer gland seals. One side of the flat backer ring is cupped to go against the oring. When reinstalling the tie rods, do it in a cris-cross pattern and tighten each one incrementally so as not to get the gland cocked. Use a torque wrench to get them tightened correctly. Tighten to a setting lower than the final torque all the way around. Then step up to your final torque.
