Fairly straightforward. on the yellow Teflon seal, I warmed it up in hydraulic oil and was able to roll it on to piston. then wrapped it in 2 business cards and put a hose clamp around it to resize it back to original size.

Kubota L2500 with a LA450S front end loader. I started this project with zero experience and about zero knowledge of hydraulic cylinders. Most of the time was spent researching what seal kit to order and what tools I'd need. Turns out I didn't need any of the specialty tools. I was able to loosen the head gaskets with a pipe wrench and install the inside piston seal with fingers, surprisingly easy. The rigid yellow Teflon seal was the trickiest. I tried heating it but ultimately found massaging with fingers and using an O-ring pick did the trick. I used a hose clamp to compress the seal afterwards (as several people suggested in videos). Don't know if it was necessary. A mistake I made that added a lot of confusion and time to the project was that I didn't realize the piston wiper seal included a rigid ring that I had to pop out with a screwdriver (I scraped the rotting rubber clean and thought the ring was part of the piston). After that light-bulb moment everything made sense and went well. Replaced seal kits on both bucket cylinders. No leaks after 3 weeks. Hopefully another novice will find this helpful. I sure relied on the internet to get through this project.
