Likely your shift lever and this part already came loose from the tractor. Now, remove the plastic cover. There is an Allen headed bolt that can be accessed from the underside. Use a thin 12mm on the indented portion of the stationary ball plunger (the front two are spring loaded - leave them alone). Install the ball plunger in the selector part. Then work the two ball plungers in place. Then install the Allen headed bolt and tighten. Remove the shift lever from the old part and install on the new part. That’s it…very easy.

It's fairly simple, once you have the box free the stationary ball has an Allen bolt under it. Removed the Allen bolt from underneath then the stationary ball can be removed then the old plate can be taken off. slide long grove in first then the shorter side, once those are on you can proceed to put back on the stationary ball. Put your rubber and handle on new plate.

The slots on the selector allow ample movement for installation and removal without adjusting control cables. Look at the underside and you will understand. If you have 3rd function buttons on loader handle, disconnect the wires at bottom of the housing to facilitate removal of handle. Remove two horizontal bolts from housing and controller will move upward. Remove allen head bolt on the bottom holding the pivot pin and its all yours. The allen head bolt may have thread lock on it but it will come out.
