75598-22300 seal kit BT600 backhoe/stabilizer. Use 11/16 wrench(s) loosen hydraulic hose. Use 1/2 spanner or best use Salade Gland Nut Wrench ($42) with 3 size pins, use the smallest one, loosen bottom hydraulic cylinder threaded nut (gland) with mallet or leverage (pipe with hole big enough for gland wrench to fit) before removing hydraulic cylinder (to easily remove hydraulic cylinder threaded nut after removing hydraulic cylinder). Remove 2 snap ring at bottom. Punch out pin/rod (grease port) Remove 2 snap ring at top. Punch out pin/rod (grease port). Optional: remove and replace grease fittings and refill with grease until black grease comes out after punching out. Remove 2 hydraulic cylinder hoses. Remove hydraulic cylinder and set up right to remove cylinder threaded nut, due to fluid inside cylinder. Take out piston and use vise or 24” pipe wrench on one end and large adjustable wrench to loosen hut by mallet. Take picture of pressure end to look back to reinstall. 9 seals to replace. 5 at top cylinder threaded nut, 4 at bottom rod. Use awn tool to remove worn seal and use bent arms to install 2 seals inside cylinder threaded nut. Remember, the 2 seals that goes inside the cylinder threaded nut, the grove or dipped, u shape goes toward outside. The inside or middle seal, the grove or dipped u shape goes toward the threaded part. (Instructions for the 2 seals, orient the seal on the tool properly, with the flared end down if inserting the seal/tool from outside of the gland, or with the flared up if inserting the seal/tool from inside (pressure side) side of the gland. Reverse installation (you can put in rod/pin in first before hooking hoses), refill UDT hydraulic cylinder if needed.

I can't say anything about installation since I had it done for me at a local shop. But one important thing I learned about disconnecting and removing the cylinder before taking it to be worked on: Get some 1/2 inch Tygon tubing and slip it over the hose fittings on the cylinder. Route the tubing to a collection vessel, then cycle the cylinder manually a couple of times. Otherwise you're going to have hydraulic fluid sprayed all over the place! You might even be able to reuse the fluid you collect, that's up to you. Before delivering the cylinder to be worked on, cut some one inch pieces of Tygon tubing and thread them over the hose fittings on the cylinder to protect the threads and mating surfaces while the cylinder is being worked on. For my BT600 I had to add 3.5 quarts of Super UDT2 to my BX23 after reinstalling two repaired stabilizer cylinders.
