The main assembly tube may need wiggled back and forth to slide on your pin. Due too the powder coat process leaving the hole a little smaller than preferred. However it should clean right out and pop right on. As for the rod adjustment. Remember the backing nut must be tightened in order to retain the adjustment bolt.

lube mating rod and pivot pin. feed indicator rod thru the upper bracket and then pin boom to bottom boom pin. adjust indicator show level bucket position.
