You could order the flange nuts that work with it. They are sold separately. But instead, I used stainless steel nuts and stainless steel fender washers on mine.

Installed on my 2012 L3800 HST perfectly. I found to thread nuts on bolts first, as I thought I had cross threaded only to find very tight-fitting nuts. Makes it a lot easier to pre thread nuts. I also used a drop of lock tight.

If your standard L series doesn't have the right grab fender handle, definitely get this. Make sure you also get the correct flange nuts. Easy to install and now I have a place to grab when I'm looking back. Good buy!

on my tractor the studs in the handle were very slightly out of alignment with the holes in the fenders ( or vice versa). I got it to work by placing one stud about half way in and set the other as close to its hole as possible then just gave the handle a sharp rap with the heel of my hand and it went in.

Be sure to order two nuts to go w/ the handle because the sure don’t come w/ it. They’re metric & hard to find locally. It be nice it the system defaulted to ordering the nuts when the grab handle is ordered & not let you complete the on-line order without the two metric nuts.

Remove factory hole plug, handle seemed to go right in when placing rear stud in first. Make sure you order (2) of the flange nuts. I used blue Loctite on the studs just to prevent loosening. So nice to have this handle!

Does not come with mounting washers and nuts. Messicks does tell you to purchase those at the product description but I failed to notice. I believe it is a 10 mm nut with fine threads that I bought at hardware store.

This was installed on the right fender of a Grand L6060. Kubota does not install this handle on this model, However, the fender is also used for other models so the factory mounting holes for this handle are pre-drilled.The top hole is available (it was covered with orange tape), the second hole is not accessible (it is covered by the front loader control housing). Instead of cutting the plastic loader control cover, I drilled a new hole about 2" away and mounted this handle. It works great and looks factory installed.

Soaked in hot water for a fee minutes to soften the plastic. Went right in.
