Kubota mechanic placed a shop vacuum into a funnel on the fill port of my LX3310. Then took off the two hydraulic filters and replaced with the new ones. The vacuum created a negative fluid pressure. Not one drop of hydraulic fluid was spilled or wasted during the filter change on the 50 hour service.
