Remove rear tire, make sure shift lever and lift lever are up out of the way as best possible, loosen tie rod end lock nut slightly. Remove nut attaching the rod end to bracket. break tie rod end loose on the rod. I was able to get my hand over the brackets and remove the tie rod end from the rod. add the new end in reverse of the removal process. At 80 years old i may be a little slow, a youngster with good dexterity and patient will be quicker.

I am not left handed, double jointed not do I have fingers that are 12 inches long. You can see where the part needs to be replaced simply by looking through the hole where the parking brake lock is. Throw a flashlight down there, and it's pretty easy to wrench the old one out and new one in.

Deck must be removed Hydraulic filter must be removed so buy a quart of UDT to replace the lost fluid. Installer must be left handed, upside down, double jointed and have fingers that are 12 inches long. Other than that installation was a breeze

Easy to install part, simply threads on in place of the old one, to try and get the adjustment close, only loosen the locknut slightly so that the new one is adjusted similar to the old, then do a fine adjustment of necessary.
