(B7800) -Located on a bracket attached to the bonnet under the dash. Kubota installed the controller with a single bolt which contributed to the failure mode. I manufactured a support plate out on .060 aluminum to help support the new controller which also allowed using 2 fasteners for the install. Remove the single screw forward of the steering wheel, remove steering wheel and gromment, (use a puller for the steering wheel) lift the dash straight up approx half inch and move back enough to gain access to electrical connections and tach drive cable. Remove dash assy. I used this opportunity to ring out all the sensors and switches, along with repairing some chaffed wiring, and cleaning electrical connectors. Replaced controller and reassembled. Works great. No more jumping the starter solenoid with a screwdriver.

You need to remove instrument cluster, hazard switch connector, ignition connector, throttle pin and arm, and tachometer cable in order to get access. The controller only takes 5 minutes or less. The rest of the time is gaining access and re-assembly.
