#K5645-72682 Mower Deck Gauge Wheel Pin

This wheel pin was for my mid-mount mower for a B2601 tractor. If this was a simple replacement job it would take less than 5 minutes but I can't imagine why anyone would replace a perfectly good pin. I have had to replace this pin twice for my mower deck, both times because I bent the pin. Once the pin is bent in the bracket there is no easy to remove it. The first time I had to drill the pin out, starting with a 1/4" drill and stepping up an 1/8" and sometimes 1/16" drill bit afterwards until I reached 1" before I could drive the pin out. That was a long and tedious process. This time the mower bracket weld was only part way remaining so I cut the bracket completely off the deck with an angle grinder and cutoff disc and used my 20 ton shop press to get the bent pin out. I then put in the new pin and welded the bracket back on to the mower deck.
