Installation Tips
(20 minutes)
The pulley would not slide onto the new spindle on the tension arm. Bobby from Messick's suggested getting emery cloth and buffing the spindle which I did. I used fine sandpaper after making a 6 " strip to buff like u would buff shoes The pulley slid on without any issues after about 15 mins of buffing.

Easy installation for the most part! The spring was a little tough to get connect after the final install. I used a ratchet strap to pull the spring. What I like about Messicks are the parts breakdown. You will always know you are ordering the right parts!

I had to cut it off with zip cut because it had never been replaced and a 3 jaw bearing puller did not work. It is changed now.

Cleaned area on tension arm of all old grease, polished shaft lightly with 220 grit emery cloth. Replaced pulley and both snap rings and metal seal. Greased before reinstallation.
