I sprayed rust buster in the ends of the propeller shaft cover to loosen the corrosion so I could get the cover off the shaft. The propeller shaft was corroded so I cleaned it up before reinstalling and that made installation a lot easier. Overall the hardest part was getting the cover off the propeller shaft. The coupling went on easy and roll pin installation was smooth.

Put both couplings on the shaft as well as the cover, make sure both holes for the pins are facing down, slide one coupling onto one end either the back or front and look up through the hole and make sure there is space to pound in the pin. Do the same to the other side then put bolts back into the cover. I wouldn't recommend greasing as it would tend to collect dust and debris. If one coupling is bad replace both and get a new shaft at the same time. No sense in installing new parts onto old parts.
