Installation Tips

Remove the instrument cluster (10mm x 6) to gain access to the mounting location. I found it easiest to slip the cluster up the accelerator lever until it would rest on the lever and give me room to work behind the panel--awkward, but workable. Remove single bolt (10mm) holding timer switch. Wiring harness is held in place with a single spring latch; I found it easiest to slip a small flat screwdriver behind the latch to pull it forward and release the connection. Look at the replacement part to figure out which side holds the latch. Reverse steps to install...

Removing cowl and awkward position of disconnect added time, had i brought my reading glasses to the field would have been a great idea. Getting old is awesome, 20 minute job if there is a next time.

It's up under the bonnet hood thing on the steering wheel column. We had to remove that first then located the correct one after using a multimeter to determine what electronic part/switch wasn't working. When is and then ordered we easily plugged the connector back in and hung it properly back into place.

Very Easy. Remove screws holding instrument panel cover. Remove accelerator knob so that gives clearance to reach the switch. One screw holds on switch to mounting behind dash unplug old one. Then install new one. Out everything back together. You are good to go!
