It’s pretty straight forward. Unplug the switch, tip up the seat remove the 12 mm bolt remove and install new switch, install bolt connector plug on switch tip seat down, sit in seat to activate switch start tractor shift into gear. Engine should stay running. If so you have a successful installation.

The tractor would start fine and then shutoff intermittently. There was no consistency or apparent reason. We could here the fuel shut off valve clicking. Thinking the easiest thing to do was to replace the seat switch since ours was worn and seem to have a lot of play in the lever. This was very easy to replace but did not fix the problem. There is only one nut to take off and one toggle electrical connection. All that is required is a 10 mm wrench.

After installing a new fuel pump, and a new fuel shut off solenoid, and a new battery, the seat switch was the issue after installing it. Tractor runs fine thanks good part..
