Installation Tips

Use an impact wrench to remove the nut on top of the spindle (RH threads). The blade, blade holder, shaft bearings, all of it will drop down. You don't have to remove the blade holder from the spindle shaft! EASY.

Took only the blade nut off and left the pulley on. Pull assembly upwards and removed 4 bolts holding bearing hub.

Clean mower prior to repairs. Use penetrating oil to reduce risk of damaging corroded bolts. Use anti-seize on hardware when reinstalling.

This is for a LandPride 2584. Do not remove the Blade Bar. Take the retaining nut off the shaft, remove the pulley and key, then drop the shaft with the Blade Bar attached.
