Installation of the replacement skid shoes is easier than breaking a painted-on factory oil filter loose on your first fluids and filters change. Don't forget to order the mounting bolts as the tapered bolt heads wear down at the same rate as the skid shoes. (Part # 802-603C-909) These are not included with the replacement skid shoes. You should be able to reuse the locknuts, but it doesn't hurt to have a few extras on hand either. Two skid shoes will ship in a single box with plenty of room for the bolts in the same box. If you have to order the bolts separately the shipping will be more costly than the bolts so save some cash and order the bolts along with the skid shoes. In fact, order a few extra bolts as these skid shoes are reversible and generally show more wear on the front side of the grader.
