Print off both PDF sets of directions listed on Messick's website. The color one was the most helpful. Make a cut in the electrical sleeving of the wires coming off the controller. Pull the two blacks out and cut to appropriate length and connect those to valve pigtail. The hot/red wires with sleeving reached to my battery on an MX5800. There's a youtube video that shows this trick. It definitely makes the electrical connections much cleaner. I'm really glad I did it myself and didn't pay shop/dealership way too much to do it.
