The painted the engine with the filter in place at factory and even with a filter wrench & ratchet it would not budge. so I used a trick learned on youtube from someone who ran into the same problem I used a metal dental pick to scape the paint sealing the filter to the engine and then the rachet again w/ o having to over force the filter and it came right off. (50HRS)
