After lifting the cab on the Case 60XT, I found it easiest to remove the starter to allow more room. The plug was rusted stuck to the block so I drilled a hole through the plug and used the hook attachment on my slide hammer. After a few pops, the plug came loose. Make sure to use a long magnet to remove the shavings from inside the block.
