there are 2 bolts under the dash that secure the throttle control. I found it easier to take of the fuel tank band off and slide the tank to one side for easier access to these bolts. Once these nuts are taking off and the throttle handle was taking off, you can take the lever of the throttle control out from under the dash to install the eyelet end of the cable to the throttle control.
