Use the hydraulics to take the pressure off the pins. Disconnect the hydraulics from the tractor to isolate the fluid in the backhoe. (may not be necessary but seemed like a good idea.) Disconnect the hoses from the backhoe last and install first. I put plastic bags with rubber bands over the hoses while the cylinder was disconnected for a week .
