Remove PTO shaft. Drive 90 deg metal pick into seal and pull outward, seal should remove easily. Be prepared for some oil to leak out .
Clean housing and shaft thoroughly and check for any burrs or debris. Slide new seal onto pinion shaft and set into place evenly, once started i used a 2-1/2" pvc schedule 40 pipe to complete the seal set.
