The adjustable front spiked roller, equipped with 0.5" x 2" carbide steel teeth, facilitates thorough seed-to-soil contact for enhanced germination. The cast iron notched rear cultipacker further refines the soil surface, creating an ideal environment for seed establishment. The ground-driven drive system, coupled with fluted seed metering, ensures consistent and reliable seed distribution. ASABE Quick Hitch compatibility streamlines attachment to tractors, making setup fast and convenient. Weighing in at 1,661 lbs., this precision super seeder is robust and capable, suitable for tractors with a power range of 35-85 HP. Woods PSS Series
Advantages of the Woods PSS Calibration System:
- Retrieve the calibration tray from its storage position and insert it into the collection slot.
- Fill seed into the two right-most seed cups.
- Operate the seeder for a specified distance. Alternatively, for stationary calibration, disconnect the seed shaft from the chain drive and rotate seed meters using the optional crank or a 12-point socket.
- Weigh the collected seed.
- Utilize the formula provided on the seed box decal to calculate your precise seed rate.
