Be careful when unbolting the cover there is a sping on the cap and it is under tension. When draining the resivor jack the rear of rhe mower so it will drain better, also you can turn over the enigine to cycle the pump to get most of the fluid out.

The filter is spring loaded. You must align and push down on the filter cap, holding it in place, while putting the three bolts in.
