The hardest part of the installation is the torquing of the 3/8 x 24 x 2 (Grade 8) retainer bolt in the end of the crank shaft. I found using a very large flywheel strap wrench (Briggs and Stratton Part number 19433) works great. My Cub Cadet 1641 tractor has a direct drive universal joint bolted directly to the flywheel which makes securing the engine crank shaft with the strap wrench (at an angle) easy without having to remove the engine shrouding to gain access to the flywheel fins to attach the strap wrench. I torqued to retainer bolt to 45 ft-lbs as recommended (40/45 ft-lbs)
