Remove the fenders and steam clean or pressure wash the rear end. If this valve has been leaking or spraying hydrostatic fluid there will be a buildup of dust and debris. The hydrostatic transmission has fins for cooling they need to be clear of excess debris. When the rear end is clean and after wiping the surrounding area remove and replace the valve. This is no easy 5-minute fix. After reassembling the fenders and etc., carefully fill the rear end with fluid and test use the tractor and recheck fluid.
