Intellicarb Compensating Carburetor: The IntelliCarb™ Compensating Carburetor is engineered to automatically adjust the air/fuel ratio as the air filter becomes partially clogged or obstructed, maintaining the engine's optimal RPM. IntelliCarb™ utilizes air from the clean side of the air filter to regulate the diaphragm and fuel flow. When the air filter accumulates dirt, reducing the available air for the carburetor, the IntelliCarb™ system adjusts the fuel flow to counteract the decrease in airflow. This differs from typical carburetors that draw air from the "dirty" side of the airbox.
Ematic Lubrication System: The Ematic™ guide bar, when used with STIHL OILOMATIC® saw chain, ensures proper lubrication and reduced oil consumption compared to conventional methods. This system is effective because it employs two strategically placed ramps in the guide bar rail, which help control the oil flow, directing lubrication to the sliding surfaces of the bar and chain links, as well as the rivets and driver holes.
