Unverferth Zone Builder Subsoiler
Choose from three Zone-Builder subsoiler models tailored to your specific soil conditions:
- Model 132: Features an auto-reset shank that trips rearward and upward from a single pivot point, making it ideal for use in rocky, hard soils. It maintains a trip pressure of 6,000 lbs. for consistent working depth.
- Straight-leg shank design creates passages that allow plant roots, soil moisture, and nutrients to penetrate the subsoil while minimizing surface soil disruption.
- Capable of slicing up to 20" deep, effectively addressing deep compaction issues.
- Robust 3/4" thick high-stress, forged-alloy shanks offer maximum strength with minimal surface disturbance.
- Heat-treated, austempered 1-3/4" wide replaceable points excel at breaking through hardpan layers.
- Points feature a raised-center, tapered design for reduced soil disruption at higher speeds.
- Hourglass-shaped, heat-treated cast invertible wearbars enhance shank durability and promote subsurface soil fracturing.
- The heavy-duty, double-frame, all-welded construction includes a 6"x6" rearbar and 38" underframe clearance to facilitate optimal residue flow.
- Standard tool-free adjustable stabilizer wheels equipped with stubble-resistant tires ensure a consistent working depth.
- Front-mounted swivel coulters deliver 1,500 lbs. of downpressure, effortlessly cutting through even the toughest residue. These coulters feature heavy-duty 6-bolt hubs with recessed endcaps and ride on a lip for increased durability.
